The Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival Launch Event The launch event is the opening event to start the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival. The 2010 event was at Home Farm Withcall. It was a beautiful day which encouraged many people to come along. The Heart Support Group had a stall promoting healthy lifestyle and they were also fundraising for the British Heart Foundation. The stall was manned by Ernie, Carol & Jean, plus the cardiac rehab nurses and Chris all came along to provide blood pressure readings, they did well over 100 readings on the day. Once again the Lincolnshire Co-Op provided fruit to give away, also East Lindsey District council provided some freebies to give away. Our thanks go to Alford Co-Op who supplied the fruit. |

The Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival The Heart Support Group had 4 walks during the festival. We were very lucky the weather was kind to us and stayed fine for most of our walks. Over the 4 walks we had 80 extra people walking with our group and over 2500 people came from all over the County and beyond to attend the festival and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Thanks to everyone who gave donations to the Heart Support Group. |
