CHRISTMAS DINNER 2009 On December 2nd members of the heart support group donned their finery and headed to Louth for the annual Christmas Dinner. It was lovely to see new and old faces there. The meal was excellent and the service, shame that the room was a bit on the cold side. We had good entertainment from Jenny Webb, some members even managed a few dances. A good night was had by all. |

Bus trip on 9th December On the 9th December 40 members of the group went on a trip to York, even the floods couldn't stop them. On the actual day the weather was beautiful. So they shopped till they dropped and had a good time |

AGM 2010 The AGM took place on a very wintery evening in February and even though we had many apologies due to the weather 35 people braved the elements and turned out. As there were no takers to join the committee, the committee remains the same. Nick Adams our President gave us his usual entertaining address. Ernie thanked the committee and all the members for their support during the year. At the end of the meeting Heather Emmerson gave a short presentation about LINK (Local involvement network) and stayed to speak to some of the members. The AGM was followed by a buffet and get together. |

Good News Over the last few years Alison and ourselves have worked relentlessly to extend services for Cardiac Rehab further afield than Louth. All this has paid off, Alison has now a full compliment of staff. A venue has been found at Burgh Le Marsh Village Hall. So on the 7th June Cardiac Rehabilitation classes started at Burgh for people living in that area. |

Tai-Chi The Tai-Chi class which takes place on Tuesday morning got a taste of celebrity status. In March Katherine Bletcher the editor of Heart Matters magazine and her team came up to Louth to do an article on the group doing Tai-Chi. A good morning was had by all as results in the June magazine shows. |
