 Chambers Farm Walk

Sunday 30th June 2019 11am

This is a circular easy route around the wood approximately 2 miles in length.

Location off the B1202 (Bardney to Wragby road) and is signposted from both Bardney and Wragby. LN8 5JR

 Saltfleet

Sunday 7th July 2019 11am

A country walk around Saltfleet and skirting Skidbrooke Village and passing St Botolph’s church. This walk is on roads, fields and paths

Woodhall Spa Railway Walk

Sunday 21st July 2019 11am

To walk the Railway walk starting from the picnic area on the B1191 road Horncastle to Woodhall Spa. We walk towards Woodhall Spa till we reach Sandy Lane, we then retrace our steps back to the picnic area.

Meet at Picnic area on the B1191 this is about 3 miles.

 Alvingham Two Churches

Sunday 28th July 2019 11am

This walk takes you on level ground alongside Louth Canal, on lanes and across fields to the neighbouring village of North Cockerington and back. It may be muddy in places at certain times of the year.

How to get there= go down North Holme road past My Fathers Moustache then turn left on to Keddington road at X roads straight over still Keddington road, stay on this road, very windy for about 2 miles go right on Lock road to North Cockerington after sharp left bend then where road goes right you go straight on through village then go left into Grange lane and on past Grange farm about a 6th mile, stop at bridle way.

Park responsibly on verge. Distance about 3 miles about 1 ¾   hours.

 Trusthorpe New Walk

 Flower Festival

Sunday 4th August 2019 11am

A 2 mile walk across fields on public footpaths to the promenade. Return via Trusthorpe Chapel Flower Festival for refreshments. Salad lunches (£3.50) and deserts (£2,50) also available.

 East Keal

Sunday 11th August 2019 11am

A circular walk around the area of East Keal using fields paths and lanes Meet at Church lane in East Keal, please park responsibly in the village.

This walk is about 2 miles and takes about 1 ¼ hrs.

East Keal is on the A16 2 miles south west of Spilsby. Post code PE23 4BA

 Burgh Le March

Sunday 18th August 2019 11am

This is a walk round Burgh Le March. The walk uses a mixture of surfaced paths, tracks and field paths and there are a few stiles.

The walk is about 2 miles and takes about 1 ¼ hours

Meet and park in Market Place or Tinkers Green recreation ground Jackson’s lane.

A leisurely walk around the Market Town of Horncastle route decided on the day by the walk leader.  Distance 1 ½ miles.

 Snipe Dales Walk

A walk along a public footpath in the area of Snipe Dales Country Park and Nature  Reserve, about an hour, difficult in places.

A circular walk around Sandilands, Acre Gap and returning on Prom about 2.4 miles.

Gibraltar Point

Sunday 22nd September 2019 11am

This is a gentle stroll through one of England’s best-known nature reserves, around the  dunes of Gibraltar point approximately 2 ½ to 3 miles

Directions: In Skegness drive down front to clock tower, turn right into   Lumley Road then first left into Drummond Road, continue on Drummond  Road which then becomes Gibraltar Road on past Seacroft Golf course, park at visitor  center approx. 3 miles)

Franks Meadows Manby(Manby Flats)

Sunday 29th September 2019 11am

Meet at East Lindsey District Council car park. This walk will take about 1 ½ hours at a leisurely pace. We walk along paths, roads and across pastures that allows access to viewpoints, overlooking the wetland created on the Long Eau to contain floodwater.

Distance 3 miles
